HOME Fostering offer
HOME Fostering is a Greater Manchester-based not-for-profit fostering agency set up to help people who have all the right qualities to become foster carers but lack the space in their current home.
After launching in April 2026, HOME have been overwhelmed by the interest and is now in the process of sourcing new family homes to help move foster carers in. This is only the start.
The offer to Supporters includes:

Stable, secure, long-term tenancies – either with HOME’s foster carers as tenants or with HOME directly through a commercial lease arrangement

Direct tenant support – Including background checks, training, and regular property visits by HOME for the whole time they are fostering

No planning/property adaptations – unlike for Children’s Homes, no planning is required for a foster carer to live in a family home, and no adaptations will be required either.

Social impact - by being a foster-friendly landlord, you will have had a transformational impact on vulnerable children’s lives.
Get involved
HOME Fostering is working with landlords across Greater Manchester and has tenants ready for the right homes. Supporters and Members of the Good Landlord Charter can join a waitlist to get involved with this opportunity.
There is a current need for 3, 4 or 5 bedroom properties in Manchester, Trafford, Stockport or Tameside. If you have any suitable properties, please complete the registration form.
