Supporters of the Greater Manchester Good Landlord Charter are committed to meeting our Membership criteria. This means being a Supporter is a work-in-progress towards going above and beyond to improve the rental experience. Supporters work directly with the Implementation Unit to evidence that they meet their legal minimum requirements as a landlord. The Implementation Unit helps landlords achieve our Membership criteria and become full Members.

THE GOOD LANDLORD CHARTER
What does it mean to be a Supporter?
The Good Landlord Charter is making renting better for tenants and landlords in Greater Manchester. This project is funded by GMCA, so the Charter can be free for landlords wanting to improve the rental experience. Meeting all our criteria lets landlords become full Charter Members and Good Landlords.
1. Landlord
The Good Landlord Charter is for all residential landlords in Greater Manchester. We only require landlords to meet their current legal minimum requirements and to commit to higher rental standards.
2. Supporter
Landlords who are accepted into the Good Landlord Charter appear on this page as Supporters. This means they are actively committed to meeting the Membership criteria and are receiving support from our Implementation Unit.
3. Member
Full Members of the Good Landlord Charter have met all our criteria and received formal recognition from our Governing Board. Members are actively delivering higher standards to their tenants every day.
